Festival Closing Party
A short and sweet send off, for a marathon arts program!  Don't fear, you won't have to go without art for very long.  The closing night for Angkor Art Explo is the also the Opening night for Angkor Photo Festival, where the fun will continue.  You can never have too much art.

WATER FESTIVAL 

WEDNESDAY 9/11 - Friday 11/11
Bonn Om Touk 
This local water festival featuring boat races along the river, happens annually in November.  Angkor Art Explo recognizes the significance of this important cultural ritual by taking a breather between 9th - 11th November, 2011.  Artists are encouraged to rejuvenate and re-connect with family and  friends at this incredibly festive time of year in the Khmer calendar.  You'll find us at the street stalls eating our way through the delicious festival treats, listening to local Khmer music blasting from the sound systems all along the river and lighting fire-works from bamboo canes.  Happy Water Festival!
